PATH is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to join a growing team of dedicated real estate professionals. The Director of Finance will be responsible for sourcing and managing debt, and project financial analysis, including managing complex, multi-phase project models. The successful candidate will also assist in raising equity and investor relations. As a part of the Finance and Accounting team the Director of Finance will also work closely with the development and acquisition team.
PATH has a 20-year history of development across Western Canada and Washington state and has delivered over 12,000 residential units, and several commercial, industrial and office projects. PATH has recently rebranded and is expanding its operations. PATH has a strong pipeline of projects and is actively acquiring new sites.

The Responsibilities
- The Director of Finance will play a key role in our development projects, ensuring that debt and equity are structured appropriately to support the achievement of performance targets and goals.
- They will take the lead managing the execution of finance team tasks and goals, including management and supervision of two direct reports.
- Oversee project analysis, including acquisition and development proformas and complex financial models
- Arrange project debt for for-sale and rental projects
- Prepare and coordinate materials for capital raises, including presentations, investment memorandums and other documents
- Manage relationships with lenders and equity investors
- Assist or lead in the delivery of reports to investors and senior management
- Engage with and become an active member of the greater real estate community
- Lead special projects, or other initiatives as required
Qualifications
- Passion for Real Estate Development and Finance
- 5+ years of real estate finance experience or equivalent
- Experience and a deep understanding of real estate financial models and debt structures
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Ability to actively manage competing priorities, and work within a changing and growing environment
- Experience with legal agreements and negotiations
- Collaborative, ability to succeed with cross functional teams
- Motivated, driven and with strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability
- A professional designation (CFA, CPA) or working towards one is an asset
